Built on Better Practices
Fifteen years of honest work, skilled technicians, and a simple promise: do it right or don't do it at all.
Where It All Started
Big Sky Energy began in 2009 when our founder, who spent 15 years working for major pump manufacturers, saw a problem that needed fixing. Too many repair shops were replacing parts that didn't need replacing and rushing jobs that deserved careful attention.
He started with one service van, a fully equipped workshop in Kimball, and a commitment to treating every client the way he'd want to be treated himself. Word spread quickly through Nebraska's agricultural and industrial communities—finally, a shop that would explain what was actually wrong and give honest options.
Today, we operate from our 5,000 square foot facility with multiple service vehicles, a complete parts inventory, and a team of certified technicians who share that same commitment to quality work.

What We Stand For
Our values aren't just words on a wall—they guide every job we do.
Honest Assessments
We'll tell you exactly what's wrong and show you the evidence. If a repair can wait, we'll tell you. If you need it now, you'll know why.
Quality Parts & Work
We use proper replacement parts and follow manufacturer specifications. Every job comes with documentation of what was done and why.
Respect Your Time
We show up when we say we will, communicate delays promptly, and work efficiently without cutting corners.
Our Capabilities
Our 5,000 square foot facility is equipped to handle everything from routine maintenance to complete rebuilds. We maintain an extensive inventory of parts for common pump models, which means faster turnaround times for our clients.
Our service vehicles are fully equipped for on-site repairs, but when a job requires our full workshop capabilities, we have the equipment and space to get it done right.
